At Maze, we love going big, and our Epic Meal Challenge was one for the books! This time, we rolled up our sleeves and crafted a giant burrito that fed all our hungry guests.

It was a fun-filled in-house event where everyone gathered to take on the massive meal together, with great food, laughs, and new friendships being made. The burrito may have been huge, but the good times were even bigger!

In 2019, we transformed Maze into Hogwarts for an unforgettable week of magical fun! Upon check-in, guests were sorted into their Hogwarts house by the colour of their room: Red for Gryffindor, Yellow for Hufflepuff, Green for Slytherin, and Blue for Ravenclaw.

The hostel was buzzing with excitement as the Golden Snitch was hidden somewhere around the property, and guests went on a quest to find it. We held potion classes (aka drinking games) in the kitchen, and the fun didn’t stop there—everyone could save Dobby by donating a sock!

During the summer months, escape the city and join us on unforgettable trips to the Blue Mountains, where you’ll experience the awe-inspiring beauty of this natural wonder. We’ll take you to see the famous Three Sisters rock formation, a must-see landmark with stunning panoramic views. For those up for an adventure, we’ll also guide you on a trail like the Charles Darwin Walk, where you can explore lush forests, cascading waterfalls, and native wildlife. It’s a perfect day to connect with nature, get some fresh air, and enjoy one of Australia’s most iconic landscapes!
